The classicist town hall built in 1889 stands on the bank of the Révlaposi backwater. On its walls plaques show the memorable events of the main square.
In Gyoma there is a mighty edifice standing out loftily, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. It’s the Jerusalem of the local Roman Catholic community.
The building of the church took 22 years. The foundation of the tower was laid in 1791 but we have no written records of the builders.
