Harang Pension
After the death of Ferenc Kállai, his wife donated the artist’s personal belongings, awards, and other important documents to the town of Gyomaendrőd. These were initially part of the Endrőd Folk House and Local History Collection.
On the occasion of the 2015–2016 Kállai Memorial Year, an exhibition of the artist’s legacy was held at the Vidovszky Béla Municipal Gallery.
In 2024, the gallery was expanded with a new wing, providing a permanent home for Ferenc Kállai’s legacy, and since then it has been open as the Ferenc Kállai Museum.
A collection of nearly 1,000 dolls, complemented by various toys, teddy bears, nursery furnishings, etc., can be viewed. Dolls from different continents as well as dolls representing various professions are on display.
The dolls of the exhibition were donated to our town by Dr. Aranka Terézia Latorcai-Újházi and Dr. János Latorcai.
