The already traditional exquisite gastronomical event had a record number of visitors this year and took place in excellent atmosphere. The courtyard of the Bethlen Vocational School was able to provide ample space for the thousands of visitors and fortunately the weather proved to be sunny.
The Cheese and Cottage Cheese Festival is not only an exhibition but also a competition among exhibitors. The professional jury led by Béla Prohászka evaluated almost a hundred of different cheese products of eleven domestic and a Transylvanian (Magyarlapád) producer on Saturday morning.

Innumerous spectacular shows and performers made the gastronomical days even more interesting. Thus we could see firefighter show, motorbike parade, stilt walkers, fire jugglers, Capoeira dance and the performance of the Színfolt Majorette Group. In the neigbouring green area amusement park entertained the children. On the main stage the lovers of live music could enjoy lot of good concerts as 100 Folk Celsius, Crystal, Ossian and the local Insipid band among others.
The intensive photographic and cinematographic work lasting for two days was exhausting for us but the experience compensated our efforts. The selection and processing of the photos took one day, the editing and rendering of the cinema-quality (full HD) video clips took 5 more days to finish. It was good to hear that a few exhibitors mentioned that they chose their accommodation with the help of the www.gyomaendrod.com website.
