A Day at the Farm
The short movie is presenting a typical day of a traditional Hungarian farmer. Lajos Zurek is living in the rural areas of Gyomaendrőd, South East Hungary. He is a kind of dying breed amongst farmers, cultivating his lands and rearing his animals by himself, using both manual labor and moderately modern machinery. The old farms of Hungary have started to disappear, but there are still a few sentinels on the heath.
