Bárka Visitor Center

The visitor center introduces visitors to the natural history of the Hármas-Körös River and the ecological impacts of river regulation. Exhibitions, museum education programs, guided tours, and museum lessons help explore and understand the cooperation between water and humans over millennia. The center focuses on presenting the fishing traditions of the Körös, the important role of fish in traditional diets, and fish as a cultural symbol. In an educational and community space designed with both modern teaching tools and elements of traditional exhibitions, visitors experience and internalize ecological thinking and the priorities of environmental and nature conservation in our modern world.
