On 11th October 1960 the water was pronounced to be of medicinal value. Its components are potassium, sodium ammonium, calcium, iron, chloride, bromide, iodide, fluoride, sulphate, hydrogen carbonate, boric acid, silicic acid.
The healing water of the thermal bath is recommended for the treatment of chronic illnesses as acute rheumatic disorders and gout, neuralgia, sciatica. It has a healing effect on fractures, atrophy, and chronic inflammations. The temperature of the water is 60.5 oC (140.90 oF).
The water is outstanding for mineral water drinking cures especially in the case of chronic catarrhal inflammations, acute colitis (enteritis), cholecystitis, inflammation of the renal pelvis, dyspepsia (gastric troubles), pyrosis and gastric ulcer.
In the case of gastric inacidity the drinking cure is not recommended.
